Drops of Wisdom Book Launch in Person

A wonderful morning at Kariwak, Tobago. The first in person DROPS OF WISDOM book launch and signing!

It was interactive and we all got to talk about our experience with the book and some of the poems, and how they can resonate and spark something in each one of us as we all have human experiences.  

Some of the poems that resonated with some of the participants were:

"Joy", "Enough", "Pain", "The Wheel", "The Real Healer", "The Modern Witch", "An Angel", "Heart to Heart"

I absolutely love listening to the feedback and which poems resonate and how and why they resonate to each one as unique individuals that we are. We have our own perspective and insight into the poems but ultimately we all feel human emotions and that is what connects us in our deepest and truest level when we read this book.

My "witchi" side...

My "witchi" side... 

A side that has always been there

A side that I was conditioned to keep hidden 

People would get scared of it. They don't understand it

You need to be "normal" and fit in in the "normal" world 

That witchi side had to be only for me to see 

But gladly even though it was only for me

I didn't stop digging, exploring and growing it .... 

I kept (and keep) watering it, knowing it, discovering deeper layers ... testing, practicing ..  

Now i am free of shame

Free of fear of how someone else will see me because of that side

Free from the long past history of Witches being burned, shamed, feared and silenced 

Kicked out of communities or persecuted... 

All that is gone and it is a relief 

I love and embrace my witchi side just like the many other sides I have and I am yet to discover!

I will never abandon you.

And that doesn't mean i will leave your side 

But the day that you require me to leave my side To enable your attachments and fears, you will feel that you lost me or that I abandoned you.

But not because I moved and left you, but because you moved and left when something in you realized 

that I was still standing by my side

standing in my truth 

without leaving myself behind.

Love does not require you to abandon yourself.

Love includes all.

Love includes me and you.
