My "witchi" side...

A side that has always been there

A side that I was conditioned to keep hidden

People would get scared of it. They don't understand it

You need to be "normal" and fit in in the "normal" world

That witchi side had to be only for me to see

But gladly even though it was only for me

I didn't stop digging, exploring and growing it ....

I kept (and keep) watering it, knowing it, discovering deeper layers ... testing, practicing ..

Now i am free of shame

Free of fear of how someone else will see me because of that side

Free from the long past history of Witches being burned, shamed, feared and silenced

Kicked out of communities or persecuted...

All that is gone and it is a relief

I love and embrace my witchi side just like the many other sides I have and I am yet to discover!
