About Expectations

Contemplating Nature

I am sorry

I am sorry for putting so much expectations on you

And I'm sorry for keeping myself tied down with expectations

Expectations keep us in a jail

Keep us tied down to a supposed idea

To an illusion

To a supposed and wished reality that only exists in your own mind

I am truly sorry for putting those expectations on you

It is not fair

It is not fair to you and

It is not fair to me

I want freedom of being.

Freedom for you and freedom for me

Freedom of action,  decision

Movement,  expression

Freedom and acceptance of what is as it is

Are two very similar concepts

Acceptance of what is as it is without wishing it to be anything else

That is how we find freedom in each moment...

I love you

I don't want you to be anything else other than you

And that requires freedom

Allowing

Space

Openness

Acceptance of what is as it is ...

No expectations of something else

No wishing things to be different to what they are in this moment.

I love me

I don't want to be anything else other than me

And for that I require the same...

So, why would I do or give you anything different than that...

- Acceptance

-E.Y.P

NOTE:

I hope this poem about what expectations can do to you and your relationships, can inspire you into stepping into a deeper understanding of what real love is.

And how (Real) love cannot Be and breathe without freedom.
