Contemplating Nature

I am sorry

I am sorry for putting so much expectations on you

And I'm sorry for keeping myself tied down with expectations

Expectations keep us in a jail

Keep us tied down to a supposed idea

To an illusion

To a supposed and wished reality that only exists in your own mind

I am truly sorry for putting those expectations on you

It is not fair

It is not fair to you and

It is not fair to me

I want freedom of being.

Freedom for you and freedom for me

Freedom of action,  decision

Movement,  expression

Freedom and acceptance of what is as it is

Are two very similar concepts

Acceptance of what is as it is without wishing it to be anything else

That is how we find freedom in each moment...

I love you

I don't want you to be anything else other than you

And that requires freedom

Allowing

Space

Openness

Acceptance of what is as it is ...

No expectations of something else

No wishing things to be different to what they are in this moment.

I love me

I don't want to be anything else other than me

And for that I require the same...

So, why would I do or give you anything different than that...

- Acceptance

NOTE:

I hope this poem about what expectations can do to you and your relationships, can inspire you into stepping into a deeper understanding of what real love is.

And how (Real) love cannot Be and breathe without freedom.

Moon peeks through clouds over silhouetted trees at night, creating a serene and mysterious atmosphere.

I have come from the shadows into the light

But what I have learned

Is that that shadow never leaves

That shadow is like the soil from which you have come out and grown

Into the flower or tree you are meant to be

The flower or the tree cannot be without the soil

It came out from underneath the earth, through the soil and kept growing following the light

But once that tree of flower is what Is

It cannot deny the soil from where it came from

It cannot be cut off from it

It cannot be separated from it

The darkness that it experienced and the struggle that it had to go through to come out of it

The soil.

The ground that has been feeding it as it keeps growing…

The magic happens when we use what we have been through. We use the shadows to keep reminding us where we come from, how much we have transformed since.

Using the soil’s nutrients to give us motivation to keep growing towards the light and becoming more of the flower or tree that we are here to be.

Never forgetting that shadow

Never forgetting those struggles

Never forgetting or denying where we come from and how much we have transformed from it

That thanks to that we are who we are today

Stand straight and proud of all your wounds, scars and struggles that you have written all over your skin, heart and soul

As they have made you into what and who you are today

They are your customized book of wisdom for your unique human & soul path.

-Coming from the shadows into the Light-

Part of the Healing and Spiritual Journey is to learn to stop being ashamed of what we consider to be our darkest past ... As we bring light, unconditional love, and acceptance to our whole self.

If we are able to do this, then we can see (and learn to use) those "dark" memories as part of our strength and power.

"You can walk through the mud

You can swim in the mud

But you do not need to become the mud.”
